I’m Leo, backend developer by day, compulsive tinkerer by night. I started my journey into the wonderful world of software development working as a data engineer while I was pursuing my MSc in Data Science, and ever since then I’ve never stopped growing and learning as a developer. After having met some really amazing people and companies, last May I joined the backend team at Subbyx to revolutionise how people make use of and enjoy digital consumer products. In my spare time, when I’m not tinkering away at some side project or crazy software idea, I cultivate many hobbies to keep myself creative and in shape, such as writing fiction, cooking, studying Mandarin and going to the gym. On this website you’ll find a bit of everything, full stack apps, small POCs, frameworks and challenges. I have a great liking for “Build your own [X]” challenges, so expect to see a bunch of those over here, I love building things from scratch and learning how they work under the hood while doing it.
